Valerie Siew’s library career started in 1997 when she joined the National Library Board of Singapore (NLB) as a librarian. During her 17 years’ career with NLB, Valerie worked her way up through several different areas of the library profession, ending as Deputy Director in the Public Library Services before leaving service in 2014. She was a library consultant in NLB’s subsidiary company in 2016.
